Case studies

Real problems, solved quietly.

A look at the kind of Salesforce work we do for B2B companies, from commerce and portals to ERP integrations.

All case studies are anonymized. Client names, figures and identifying details are withheld under confidentiality. Each summary describes the type of business, the problem and our approach in general terms.

Sales and finance on one customer record

Sales CloudSage IntacctApexFlow

The challenge

Sales worked in Salesforce while finance ran on Sage Intacct. Orders were re-keyed by hand, and reps had no view of credit holds or open invoices before promising delivery.

What we did

  • Mapped accounts, orders, invoices and payments between the two systems and agreed one owner for each field
  • Built a two-way sync with Apex and scheduled jobs, with logging and automatic retries
  • Surfaced credit status and invoice history on the account page in Salesforce
  • Added alerts so finance hears about any failed record before it becomes a problem

The outcome

Orders are entered once. Sales can see credit status before quoting, and finance no longer re-keys orders.

B2B CommerceNetSuiteWorkatoLWC

The challenge

Most repeat orders arrived by email and phone. Customer-specific pricing lived in the ERP, so the sales desk spent its day checking prices and stock instead of selling.

What we did

  • Launched a Salesforce B2B Commerce storefront with account-based pricing and entitlements
  • Synced products, contract prices and live stock from NetSuite through Workato
  • Added quick order, reorder from history and approval rules for large orders
  • Sent storefront orders straight into NetSuite for fulfilment

The outcome

Repeat buyers order online around the clock, and the sales desk spends its time on new business instead of order entry.

A single portal for dealers and warranty claims

Experience CloudService CloudEpicorFlow

The challenge

Dealers registered products, raised warranty claims and chased order status through email and spreadsheets, and the service team had little visibility of any of it.

What we did

  • Built an Experience Cloud portal with secure, role-based access for each dealer
  • Moved product registration and warranty claims into Service Cloud cases with guided screen Flows
  • Showed order and shipment status from Epicor inside the portal
  • Set up a knowledge base so dealers can find answers without raising a case

The outcome

Dealers log in once to register products, claim warranty and track orders, and the service team works from one queue.

One view of every customer across Shopify and Salesforce

Consumer brand selling online and wholesale.

Service CloudShopifySkyviaFlow

The challenge

Online orders lived in Shopify and wholesale accounts in Salesforce. Support agents switched between systems to answer a single question, and duplicate customer records were common.

What we did

  • Synced Shopify customers and orders into Salesforce with Skyvia on a schedule
  • Matched and merged duplicates with clear rules for which system wins
  • Gave support agents order history on the case page in Service Cloud
  • Automated follow-ups for returns and wholesale reorders with Flow

The outcome

Support answers order questions from one screen, and the team works from a single, de-duplicated customer list.
